As a non-profit organization, our goal is to foster a love for the sport while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership among our players. The LEHC is committed to building a strong community of players, families, coaches, and volunteers who share a passion for the sport and a commitment to our core values of respect, integrity, and excellence. Through our programs and events, we seek to create lifelong memories and friendships that extend beyond the rink.
Who we Are
The Leyden Eagles Hockey Club made up of high school students from East & West Leyden, Elmwood Park, Niles North, Niles West, Northridge College Prep and Ridgewood High Schools. The team's home rink is the Franklin Park Ice Arena. The club has a varsity team that is a member of the Illinois High School Hockey League (IHSHL) North-Central Division - Gold for the '25-'26 season.
Our goal for the '26-'27 season, and beyond, is to have both a junior varsity (JV) and varsity teams. The program made a significant step in achieving this goal by rostering both a Varsity and JV teams for the 2026 spring season. In addition, Northridge Prep High School will be new high school that is part of the Leyden Eagles Hockey Club starting the 26 - 27 Fall / Winter season. We are excited about the continued growth of the club and would like to graciously welcome the new players from Northridge Preparatory High School!
